Overview
In this project, I wanted to re-create and re-design a well known architecture company's homepage site. I also practiced doing user testing with friends in class to see how they navigate the site.
Throughout this process, I focused on making it easy to see selected work, and make a more intractable and readable site. The original is clunky, little to no interactions and is scroll heavy.
This Project is no way affiliated to dSpace. This is a mock case study for portfolio and school purposes.

Process
Research & Inspiration
When starting this project, I did some research on current homepage design trends specifically for architecture. I came across many sites that had a CTA and an intro into the companies goals.
Building the homepage
When making the design I wanted to showcase the previous works more effectively and add user interactions to the buttons to make the website more engaging.
Layouts & Guides
Throughout this design I used layouts to make the design quick and simple. I followed a 7 rule grid guide, that allowed me to create an aesthetically pleasing design.
Conclusion
This project helped me learn how to use layouts and grids to make a more effective, eye-catching design that is functional. It also helped me map out user interactions with simple buttons, and using after effects to showcase the motion on my website.
Overall this was a very fun project to work on and lets me demonstrate my use of grids, layouts, motion and UI/UX design,
